We also have two graduates^^ joining us through a collaborative program with the Terang & Mortlake Health Service’s Terang Hospital and grad students from other regional health services** will also join us for some of our study days.
Our SWH Nurse Graduate program allows nurses to rotate through up to four of the following nine areas: perioperative, short stay, rehabilitation, medical, district nursing, acute and midwifery at our Warrnambool Base Hospital and/or the general wards of our Camperdown Hospital and/or the general wards of T&MHS’s Terang Hospital.
The graduate nurses pictured during this morning’s study day in our ACE Radio Lecture Theatre are in the best of hands. They won’t get better support and guidance in the next 12 months than that offered by our CREATe Clinical Support Nurses Vikki Hoy and Mick Edwards (second row, right).
Candidates selected for a place in our SWH Graduate Nurse Program are the cream of the crop. This year’s 20 are to be congratulated on being chosen. We can’t wait to see you all at our graduation ceremony in December. Good luck!
